A good point, Denise.

I have, fortunately, learned my lesson. I used to offer to DO the websites for little companies that seemed to think it required a month. Then I started being taken UP on it as long as it was free. OTC is a pain in the neck, but I guess that's part of the game.

Grouchily, so my best friend says,
Raven

The company told me there were many firms working on the Web Site not just one. As it's taking many parts to develop. Would that mean they may be selling products on line and need to add the security etc for the site? I wonder who will also be sponcering the site? Like kid's current sites? That would add fast advertising. Heck my Grandchild of 8 years is on the web all the time in kids sights. Our problem is using the computer when she is over visiting. These kids are on line at school as she talks about the many sites they access during the free time usage they have. I feel that the youth have more access to what we take for granted over the adults in the rest of ciber space.

Just a few thoughts on the matter.

Good Luck, God Bless
Jim...

P.S. Have you ever looked at any of the kids sights I have read and hear about?

Denise, et. al. I really think this was all a case of a tiny little company on the verge of being completely overwhelmed. How could any of us expect them to respond coherently to the deluge of inquiries they've received over the past few weeks? The head man is answering the telephone! Does that seem like a company that was prepared for all this? You can't get your collective ducks in a row with the telephone hanging out of your ear. They didn't ask for any of the investor avalanche and, it seems, were not set for it. You can speculate on the handling of all that as it relates to owning a company, but I feel that we all need to give them time to breathe (and, perhaps, get something to eat).

Denise, a slight delay on the e-Comm site is better than to see it defects when launched.

SYBR has delay its e-comm site too, and the stock can soar after that. Be patient. I'm sure ALFN management wants a good website for the toys.

Denise:

THAT is the problem with most OTCBB companies. They think that it only takes a couple of days to "throw" together a website. I assure you that to DESIGN and implement an effective, functional and secure website, it takes MUCH, MUCH longer.

I just finished setting up a Corporate website for a client. That took about three weeks. This is not even a bells-and-whistles, pull-out-all-the-stops website, just basic information with a CONSISTENT look and feel, appropriate branding and well thought out information flow.

A corporate site can usually be completed in a month, but a fully functional e-comm site, depending on the scope, can take upwards of 6 months to implement properly.

The fact that it is taking this long (since Dec 3) to put the e-comm site together is very encouraging to me, because it means that they havn't just slapped down some HTML with some Kai's Power Tools buttons calling it a website.

If you look at MOST BB company sites, you DO see something that I could put together in 1 night. If you look at the big, corporate sites, you can tell that MUCH more thought and planning went into them.
