When I was a teenager I used to crawl around in the bushes head-shooting rabbits with a .22. Shotgun pellets are not a great culinary attraction. Used to get pheasants that way as well. Had a strip of swampy forest behind the house, bunch of soybean fields and hedgerows behind that. First day of hunting season there'd be a whole load of guys with shotguns out beating the hedgerows, and all the rabbits and pheasants would be safely tucked away in the swamp. Safe from everyone but kids with .22s, anyway. Fattest deer I ever saw came off those soybean fields.

Now where was that vegetarian guy...?
