Jan, rising indexes with declining participation by the broad market is exactly what happened in 1973-74 and 1987 and as recently as July of 1998. This market feels just like 1987 to me and my other technicals I've followed for a long time are screaming caution. When I read Tom's postings for the last 2 days he certainly seems to be cautious as well. This next rally up is going to tell the story.

Jankins - very nicely written. Preaching is always appreciated.

Remember? I got religion!

Now, go call peapod for some cheetos, have your juice and talk to your doggie. He/she is lonely.

Hope you are feeling better.

Jan,

Thanks for one of your vintage posts.

This market has brought out a few ideas from some that stray from the core p&f principles that have made this thread such a welcome port of call (I have my fire proof suit on so bring on the flames).

Take care
David
