Don - I think you missed my point.

It wasn't about Compaq, I couldn't care less about that. It was the words buy.com backed by Softbank. If this is true, there is no way that yahoo 28% owned by softbank would take on an identical and less mature "atcost" business.

Buy.com not only offers computer products but books, software and videos and DVDs as well. All dirt cheap. They have a deal with Ingram that is similar to Onsale's with Tech Data. They are frankly further along with this model than Onsale and have spent many more Ad $$ building brand

Anybody noticed that ONSL filed two new internet sites on 2/22, ONSALEATPLAY.NET and ONSALEATPLAY.COM
Anybody have an idea what they are?JLL
