ADSL may take the opportunity to surpass Cable modem. People don't really care which technology to use, as long as it allows them to surf the web with 50 times faster bandwidth. ADSL has the capability to do so too.

Here is an interesting thought I just stumbled upon. ATHM can offer DSL also. If you go to the ATHM site and make an inquiry for a quote for @work a pulldown menu lists DSL for many of the major metro areas as some of the options. I wonder if AT&T would want to funnel their DSL offerings under the ATHM brand? If so, then ATHM can enjoy both the cable and the DSL pie.
