It's rare that I pay attention to earnings. That's probably where we differ most. I like to see earnings and earnings projections going up for no other reason than it give me some confidence that I am holding something that will eventually be at a higher price either thru the effort of the company (growing sales, book value, etc.) of an expansion of the p/e as the "story" moves the street from an undervalued situation to a more fairly valued situation. Anyway there are tons of ways to skin this particular cat. ---- Dave
