Well, you already know my opinion on this. So I like to point out that the article did say that if you use an AGP and a PCI together, you cannot have AGP texturing. The only advantage will be the faster AGP bus.

Unfortunately we all know that "hype" is the catalyst
behind big stock moves amongst other reasons, i.e., NVDA
hits $26 1/4 (from a recent low of $17.5) and TDFX is still
in the crapper.

We need to re-think the purpose of this message board, i.e.,
are we hear to make money in stocks or too talk about
which chip is better <g>

Look at the dog "SIII", takes a dump to $2 bucks in October 1998,
layoffs, obsolete products, now hits $9 bucks on Savage Hype.

Personally, I wouldn't mind buying some TDFX at $10+ bucks,
could be a double your money scenario, but their PR
has been slacking lately and other vendors are taking some of the limelight.

From the gamers view, we have alot to choose in 1999 <g>
Personally, I am going to get the rumored TNT2 running 166Mhz,
shoot the crappy 90Mhz TNT that I have now kicks butt..
I will also take a look at V3, but I am not interested in
Savage or Permidia3.. We'll see..

Regarding the TNT "dual", the TNT2 166Mhz "single" should hold
well against the V3, DUAL TNT2's @ 166Mhz (IF TRUE)
will SMOKE V3 !! <ggg>
