Seemed to me it dropped prior to the market meltdown so I hope that was the case. When I posted other stocks were doing fine and NT had already gone from being ahead to dropping almost 2. I guess the close wasn't too bad.

G'day again - O Canada! I actually read a PR about 2 weeks ago in Yahoo, but I didn't get around to inquire about the sentiment from our Canadian NT[L] holders here.

wired.com

Canadian FM is said to spend C$1.8B to wire the country. Any opinion? From someone south of the border, I think it is a good idea [for Canada in general and NT in particular.]

It is good for Canada b/c she should inject some stimulus to the economy, which has been a lagger of sort. And electronic infrastructure should provide good returns. Additionally, the strengthening of the infrastructure should lend a case for federalism up north [adv apology if there is any Party Quebec in our midst <SG>] It is [potentially] good for NT[L] since by law of proxminity, the company should get a few contracts out of it.

best, Bosco
