I sent the following to the SEC. concerning HOPR. Lets see what they say. Subj: Re: Re[2]: HOLLY HOLDINGS Date: 99-02-24 22:50:11 EST From: SURFCA2 To: BaltonJ@sec.gov Dear Mr. Balton, I have a question for you. HOLLY HOLDINGS was the majority owner of COUNTRY WORLD CASINOS. About a year ago the President William Patrowitz just quit the company. No bankruptcy, no anything. He was the last officer of HOLLY. He just closed up and disappeared. No notice to the shareholders. NOTHING. Now TODAY, Country World Casinos announced that they have arranged financing to build a casino in Colorado (This was the project that HOLLY was doing and was why we invested in HOLLY). Low & behold the SECRETARY-TREASURER of COUNTRY WORLD is WILLIAM PATROWITZ. Now how can a company announce a project, sell shares of its stock (I have nearly $10,000 invested in it), and then just disappear, disconnect its phones, and vanish? Especially when it majority OWNED the other company that is now apparently doing what HOLLY was supposed to do? Wouldn't the shareholders of HOLLY still own COUNTRY WORLD? If not, how can PATROWICZ take our money and disappear only to reappear at the wholly owned subsidiary? TODAY over 28,000,000 shares of HOPR traded and CWRC's stock price double with over 1,000,000 shares traded. What HAPPENED TO OUR EQUITY IN HOLLY HOLDINGS? There are alot of us stockholders who are wondering what is going on! Thanks for your help. Holly Holdings, Inc. is focusing all its attention in assisting its majority owned subsidiary, Country World Casinos, Inc., in completing its plan to build a casino & hotel complex Colorado. The casino will be 40 miles west of Denver. For the 9 months ended 12/31/97, the Company reported no revenues. Net loss from continuing ops. fell 55% to $1.2M. Lower loss reflects lower costs and expenses due to a reduction in salaries and lower legal costs.
