Tim, welcome aboard. Your good information is greatly appreciated.

As you may have noticed, the floor of our meeting room is currently covered in excrement. Many of us have accidently stepped in the excrement, cleaned off our boots, and continue to visit, carefully avoiding stepping in it again.

Unfortunately several of our members continue to fruitlessly step in the excrement. The sole purpose of excrement (pun unintended) is to soil all boots. Despite its feeble protestations otherwise, excrement
is not interested in the quality of the leather, the craftsmanship, or the hours you may have spent polishing your boots. It sullies all boots indiscriminately as we have seen repeatedly.

Tim, my advice to you and the others is to continue to visit, share your good hard work with us, and most importantly AVOID THE EXCREMENT.
Nothing positive comes from stepping in it.

Tim....again you are mistaken..........

I merely pointed out a discrepancy between two sets of numbers
reported in two different sources...

One was from this month and the one you quote is from over a year ago. Both are reputable sources. One is wrong.

Now the statement by the Time's Mag article that China's PC
market will be bigger than the US's by the year 2000 is not true
by any account. If you believe this, frankly you are stiffing glue.

Time Magazine's hyperbola undermines the accuracy of their article.

Now when a company GTCI puts forth press releases like the last one with words like "small foot print" technology and enlist the likes
of WSRG, they do more than I could ever do to discredit whatever legitimency they may actually have. Therefore, I'd rather have
third party references as to the exact nature of their agreements
rather than hear the company spin.

Please provide me with contacts with China Telecom so
that in may verify the exact nature of GTCI's agreement.

I'd also like to see a financial statement.
Have you reviewed or even requested the 15c211?

So in answer to your questions, my own market research
for both y2k and ISP has raised questions as to the truth of
GTCI's claims.

Therefore, what you purport to be "facts" are only the
SPIN that the company presents as its version of objectivity.

Now I didn't say Lai didn't exist.
Though I did do a search on his name on 15 search engines and couldn't find any information on him. This lack of info seems
inconsistent with his supposed acclaim. Thus my question to you
merely was had you heard of him prior to reading GTCI's PR?

Yet somehow you take your twisted logic and leap
into more vitriol and personal attacks.

Like the Fortune Magazine writer's article, the Chinese government
and systematic corruption by China's state run agencies
are what needs to be reformed.
