I agree that the mp3 format is really cool and likely a huge market for music. However, what if I do not want to download a new song, rather I'd like to make a collection of my own CDs? I mean, can't I just stick the CD into my computer and play/record it to the hard drive. Then, I can play from the computer and/or transfer to a RIO or other portable playing device? Can I do this now with RealAudio? Must I use mp3 format? What steps and software do I need?

Apologies if the answers are simple.

Jason
