Did you know it costs $150 per hour to have the NASD Arbitrate for you. You get f@#$$# coming and going. Im sure Etrash knows that few people will actually do any thing about their problems. Any thoughts?

Feb 4th I mailed Etrade a check. The bank says Etrade cashed the check Feb 11. To date i cannot get Etrade to credit my account. For over a week my Email did not get any response. This monday I phoned Etrade. After being on hold for ten minutes I was told they would need some information, check number, date check cleared, bank check was drawn on, and its ABA number to trace the check. I then called my bank and after more time on hold with the bank I got all the information Etrade said they would need. Back to the phone and fifteen minutes of phone music I got a different customer service person named Rose. Told Rose I had the information that Etrade said they needed and gave her same. Rose said it would take 24 to 48 hours to trace the check. In the mean time I receive Email from a customer service person named Marvin Baldwin saying the check had been credited to my account Feb 11th. After seeing online that this amount was not in my account and 48 hours after I spoke with Rose I again called Etrade. The new customer service rep that answered my call said he could not connect me with a Rose because Etrade does not have any Rose working for them. He couldn t see the check in my account either and there was no Marvin Baldwin working for Etrade either. It was now Wednesday and this rep said there was no record of my ever calling Etrade about the check. He would need all the information over again. After giving him all the information I was told again that it would take another 24 to 48 hours to trace the check. On Friday when I called after the 48 hours I could not be connected to my previous rep because he was either busy with some else or not at his desk. This new rep said Etrade could do nothing with a copy of the check. Now it was late Friday afternoon and the banks were closed or closing. What a terrible place to do business, Etrade.It is going to be at least another two weeks before my account will be straigthen out.

Just another exercise in frustration.
