Tom,

Wish I was settled in one location so I could start my collection all over again. I was in the military and now with the UN and slowly got rid of my books over the years because it was too much a pain in the $#@$%#% to keep carting all those %$%$# boxes from city to city to city.

Kind of like sports cards. Didn't really realize how valuable (maybe not just monetarily) the books would be when younger.

Oh well.

Cheers, Rory.

Cool thread, I just found it.

EE Smith's "Lensmen" are comming back into print, I don't know
how much else will be. I know I saw a couple in Barnes and Nobles
recently, though I don't recall who was the publisher.

My own tastes currently run towards Mike Resnick (Kirinyaga, etc)
and Connie Willis (Bellwether, Doomsday Book, etc). In light of
that, how is "Doc" Smith's work? On reccomendation I've read
some Stapledon, but it was so much drier than current sf...
