Most the opinion polls seem to be pro-3Dfx. This one on Gamespot asks, "What chip will power your next 3D card?" Voodoo3: 54% Undecided: 26% Rage 128: 10% Savage 4: 4% Permedia3: 2% PowerVR 250: 1% Total votes: 10098 Maximum PC asked, "What do you think of the 3Dfx/STB deal?" As long as 3Dfx makes great hardware, we'll buy it 42.7% It's great for 3Dfx, but no competition is bad for consumers 21.1% It doesn't matter... Also, the Max PC poll was taken before the release of the V3 reviews. Regarding dual TNTs, Maximum PC reports that the technology can also be applied to Banshee. This isn't mentioned in the Sharky Extreme article. Well, if Banshee, then why not V3?
