I agree with Michael but would add, from my perspective, that there is some sunshine in the fact that a trading range seems to be settling in between 2.5 and 4. A nice period of base-building would go a long way towards easing my fear of 2. Additionally, if the MMs are building up inventory for the big guns, so much the better. If it is necessary for us to suffer a bit for them to get in low, it should be more than compensated for by the push they will give us after they have established their positions.

<< What is now keeping me crazy is the thought that Mr Ed has blown his wad>>

I doubt that he has, Michael.

Repeating a guess-and its just a guess - that the combined revenues of the acquisitions thus far are very small (but growing briskly) and though Ed probably paid a high multiple to sales for his stake, there is likely quite a bit of the warchest left. Jubimer's suggestion that audio delivery is next makes sense- but there is already, in my opinion, enough here for a viable IPO or spinoff.

The long term value here is of course AXC's entry into exciting young businesses that are well suited to their expertise. The short term value- and one we must be all hoping for at least a little - is a stratospheric valuation to an IPO or IPOs that tremendously enhances AXC's face value. The backside protection created by these savvy (in my opinion) moves is that they markedly increase AXC's salable asset value ....which is now ( again in my opinion ) well above 3.
AXC is chasing Internet enthusiasm waves here. They certainly know that. If they don't catch this one, they probably will catch the next.
I am virtually certain that Bramson would not let the warchest fall to the point where there is any risk they might drown between crests.
