Well, maybe Intel won't back out of it so easy...
This guy Otellini sees the demand for free PCs w/P-IIIs as an indication that the people approve of being followed around the web.
What is this fellow smoking? Will someone tell him that people just want a free PC?

Jim,

Re: "Intel also seems to be a little further ahead on .18u whereas AMD has to
take a design (K7) not yet proven on .25u, to .18u and at a new FAB no less.
I'd say AMD really has their work cut out for them."

I congratulate you, Jim ... You have "started" to look at these two companies
without your "AMD blinkers" on. That is very right ... Intel will beat
AMD to .18um and AMD does have a harder task getting their "stolen" (<ggg>)
Motorolo .18um Copper process on-line in Dresden. Now what could go wrong
with that plan ?? <ggg>

Make It So,
