Len, I just got the statement and insert too. The execution promise now amounts to: Commission free trades when we don't execute in under 60 seconds but not during conditions where we don't execute in under 60 seconds.

I thought everyone figured out where Datek was going a year or so ago <g>. Nothing's changed....... "In a related development, they will no longer (also explained in this insert) honor their free commission policy when market conditions and volatility prevent them from doing the kind of job that they advertise , promise, and guarantee that they can do. " Personally I haven't recieved a free commission a quite some time, but I don't use Datek as much as I used to. I do believe they have spent their time programming their servers to delay the times executions are printed. It seems every single one of my trades are executed in less than 1 minute. But for some reason my clock puts the executions from time the confirmation screen is received to the time Datek prints the execution at well over what Datek is recording on the daily history page. But should I be surprised?? <g>. Wanna be rich?? Start an online trading company... IT IS a license to steal....
