Ten,

Intel should know better. They have been studying data security for years, and the company should be familiar with the treacherous political climate. I'll bet there are people in Oregon tearing their hair out over the lack of understanding by management.

One of my favorite trading stocks. If only I bought the stock and put it away. My personal opinion is buy this stock on dips, and put it away. New site on the internet stockprofiler.com, has come up with a new profile.

Intel PSN, Some questions.
Something just doesn't make sense to me. In view of the mounting controversy and the numerous polls showing net privacy as a major consumer concern, why is Intel adamantly sticking with PSN?
It's difficult to see how this feature makes the PIII more desirable to most people than one without. And isn't the goal to make a new device as desirable as possible to the majority of consumers? How is this more desirable to the 80% of poll responders who indicated that privacy is a key concern? (From the Post article).
I thought PIII included superior encryption technology. For E-commerce isn't that sufficient for a secure transaction? What does PSN add to the security of a transaction? Will there be a registry that links my Visa card or my name to my PC before a business will take my order? (Fat chance). ;-)
I have to think this is as important to AMD as the K6-III. How many people will buy AMD for the simple reason it doesn't have PSN?
Just doesn't make sense to me. If they insist on keeping it Intel needs a better explanation of the advantages of PSN if they are to overcome this groundswell.
