Interesting little article in Monday's IBD paper.

"Tiny fuel cells designed for driving micro-robots"
Robots could be implanted in humans to deliver drugs. Problem is supplying energy to the robots and they are working on doing so by creating a enzyme battery. On such method is a fuel cell containing hydrogen-producing bacteria combined with a glucose. The bacteria is suspended in a gel containing electrodes. When it eats the glucose, its oxidation of hydrogen generates electricity.

What will they think of next?
