RE: FORBES ARTICLE. Anyone seen a recent Forbes article on Dell? Some of the bears on AOL Motley Fool board are claiming Forbes has published a negative article, very bearish.

I understand the article compares Dell's growth from Q3 to Q4 to that of other companies like CPQ and GTW that have more consumer sales (for the time being)....if anyone has access to this article (which is sounding very bogus), pls post.

(I'll betcha 10 to 1 that the word "storage" does not appear in the article.)

Sig: Those Crazy ANALysts....(even those from Merrill Lynch) may be a bit over paid. I just picked up this update from the rag called the street.com <gg>:

<<"Like the stocks themselves, there is no gravity," the recruiter says. "In such a short period of time, the compensation has gone straight up."

A top-ranked analyst could be making at least $5 million a year, the
recruiter estimates.>>

How many ANALysts have we encountered that could be worth $5M each year? -- I don't care if they are in the internut sector or not.
Oh well, maybe we should all become high - priced ANALysts....We could be a little more objective and have tons of additional dollars to invest in great stocks like DELL <ggg>..!!!

Regards,

Scott

THE ONLY THING TO FEAR IS RISING BOND RATES11

>>Merrill Lynch had no problem spreading bad news on Dell today at 9:01, 10:01, 10:45, and 1:30 under Yhoo news items. Rather repetitious and almost total speculation, but gee, they had to get the bad news out to everybody. Just doing an Analysts job, <<

Merrill Lynch's only agenda is to scare investors into making trades and will do anything like most brokerage firms to empty your pockets. I am there fore downgrading shares of Merrill Lynch to underperform and rate the long term as neutral.
