You are so right. Let's see Intels logic in all this.
Intel makes a chip that allows a software developer to key each copy to each computer. In turn, the software developers optimize code to run better on Intel chips. Using an array of (made for Intel) benchmarks, Intel effectively shows it's new chip is faster than AMDs thus trying to shut AMD out of the market. Intel tried this with the Slot 1/BX chipset. Now it appears they are taking it to a new level.
Like Jeff Fox said on the Intel thread...the Zombies will buy it, I'm not sure the FTC will.
