One thing is for certain, DLJ seems to have a lot of power in the market! Just last week they upgraded a bunch of chip stocks to strong buys (incouding ALTR to their top picks, AMAT, etc.), and only a week later they are citing concerns over the PC growth and chips in general! Interesting indeed. Like I have always said: When these charlatans (i.e. Wall Street brokerage houses and their analysts) say Strong Buy they actually mean "Watch out suckers we are selling our shares to all you out there!", and when they say "Hold or sell" they actually mean "Ok suckers, give us your shares for free because we want to grab as many shares as we can at cheap prices!"
