Put Writing But wouldn't that imply that there are people buying the puts? If you are writing it, it's because I am buying it, no? I'm starting to think this pattern played out as I thought, the 50/50 chance of it turning South mid-day but it came a lot earlier than I would have thought. If the pattern is indeed correct then the morning High (not the Opening High, the one at 1244.50 at 11:15 EST) should not be crested until after 3 Eastern, if at all. That suggests down into the 2 to 3 time frame at least. (Again, if the pattern is correct). But I'm leary of that 1226.50 number that it seems to enjoy coming up off of.
