That should have read short at 58 5/16. Just got stopped out at 58 1/8.
Which way to go now? hmmmm.
The facts are at odds with my gut feel that we should bounce back over 60 today.

58-59 was a high-volume, textbook bottom a couple of days ago -- and now we're below it. The longer we stay below 58 (and the combination of small-volume buys and high-volume sells you noted says that we will), the stronger it becomes as resistance. The 50-DMA of 63 or so is busted. Even though "the gap is always filled", any trip to 60, if there is one at all (and it better happen quickly), will be pro-forma only and too brief to catch on the fly.
