Vitas,

55 Day Rule is it based on Interdat Print or Closing

1/08 intrd = 9759 -- close = 9643 and High
1/11 intrd = 9751
1/12 intrd = 9680
2/23 intrd = 9663
2/24 intrd = 9662

If based on ANY Print above the last closing High it has been
broken 4 times and is invalid for this coming week and March 4th.

If it is based just on closing then its Golden and right on schedual.

Did this originate with Peter Elliades?

Well, okay. The Index that I always thought the Deal was based on was the DJIA which also is waiting for a new High.

I do not wish to argue about this as Cycle Theory was rarely an issue for me. The last time was October 27, 1997 but it was not the 55 day cycle that created it.

His Cycle was based on something else, I knew it at the time but now I forget.

Still, it nailed the October 1997 selloff. And it was based on Cycles.

In any event, I do agree that the Cycle has not negated itself and so therefore the play is still in the list of possible options.

Good Luck, except for that one in 1997 and one or two others I rarely play Cycles but I wish you well trading it.
