I thought I heard Howard mention that PLFM would be working with Orbital Sciences to mate their Pegasus launcher with our Tu-160's and have this combo operational by third quarter 2000. Pegasus could likely carry a larger payload (leaving fuel or the entire first stage behind) when given a supersonic boost instead of being dropped from a lumbering L1011. BTW, Orbital Sciences being sued by 10-15 groups of shareholders--the company may need some supersonic help by 3rd qtr 2000.

On a related note, Iridium, the satellite/wireless phone company is having trouble signing customers for their special $3000 phones and $??? service charge. These guys are not in direct competition with our ARC system in that they propose to "fill in the gaps" where land based or aircraft based cellular systems don't reach. In fact, Iridium might be a good customer for PLFM launch vehicles.

This is the least boring stock I own. Next week should be fun.
