Jim,

So where/how do you see this playing out?

I am very interested as my position is strangely similar to yours. Stock, Calls, and short some Puts.

HI Jim, Before 8:30 this AM I had 11,863 shares of VLSI. Now down to 10,963. Maybe I should quick run over to the CBOE and see what's hot in the Options list.

Thanks for the note on LOGC. I know of the company, but not much more than their name. Always looking for a new home for these "buy-out" dollars!

Best regards, Tom

Jim, congrats on the VLSI calls. Thanks to some well timed ideas and general optimism about the future I also had 150 calls on this thing. March 12.5s and April 15s. I unloaded 1/2 today. May be a little hasty, but I have ridden calls to long many times in the past. I just picked up the 12.5s last Thursday. Makes today one of my top 5 all time. Thank god for phone trading capability. I got a phone mail from a friend whining about the fact that he hadn't followed me in to this thing. Closed the contracts with phone order while on my 4th graders field trip to State Capital in Tallahassee. Hope it keeps going so that I can regret getting out too soon.
