Hi HZ, Well we turned over about half the total outstanding issue in today's market! If Philips was the buyer, then they now control 50% of the company's voting shares and got them cheaper than they would have paid if the deal goes through next week!!

In any case, this is lots of fun and makes this rather bleak February look much brighter on the last trading day!!

Best regards, Tom

I absolutely agree with you! If the board and shareholders try to reject this offer without a higher offer in place they will get their butts handed to them. For all those other idiots on this thread who are whining that this price is too low, you are foolish!! This is over a sixty percent premium from the Thur. close. If you don't won't to take $17 per share then you are obviously tied down with a higher cost basis and can't see the light. This stock has been a dog for years and now VLSI has the opportunity to take a nice jump in valuation, pocket the profits and run. If you are wise you will buy more shares on Monday at $15 1/2 and watch this deal go through at $17. Don't be greedy!!! Opportunities like this don't come around to often. Let this deal ride or you will regret it! KEDELS
