D00d- MTI's (pub) chairman is Ray Noorda. Caldera's (pvt) chairman is Ray Noorda. MTI taking an equity stake in Caldera, doesn't make MTI look particularly attractive. If Ray Noorda is having his public company take a minority equity stake in his private company, it doesn't say great things about the utility of MTI equity from the perspective of the MTI shareholder. At least that's my initial impression.
