Bill, I hate to be the one to say this, but... Jeeze, based on PE (not even forward looking) AAPL is looking pretty conservative. I'm seeing more and more friends buy iMacs- defectors from Win 3.1 and 95. I just saw a grape iMac in the supermarket yesterday in the wine section- I assume to help you pick a wine with dinner- but they are in the middle of remodeling, so I don't know for sure. Point is, nothing sells like success. Deals are springing up on Powerbooks- free memory, free carrying cases, free shipping... VERRRRY tempting prices on the 266's now. Plus... ... ... (shhh. don't tell anybody... seybold is coming up.) Let's see- prices plummeting, and Seybold coming... and what, not options expiration in sight? Almost a no-brainer setting up here! Well... not quite, but I'm getting ready to buy shares and maybe some calls. They are almost giving apple away, at these prices. Of course, the worry over bonds will weigh on tech very heavily- esp the high PE companies. Which isn't AAPL. WebDrone (suffering under NT today- new printer will only print with ADMIN privs. (aarg. I'm just a webdrone, "unfit" to touch the powerful NT guts and fix it myself. grrr. The techs can't get the USB port working "maybe service pack 4 will help." Grrr. They forgot to install the jazz and zip on the install order. GRRR!) Plus, a javascript I wrote to validate a form trashes out only on Explorer 4.5 (windows). That was the last straw- I just went home.) That powerbook looks better and better. Web
