If AMD continues to take market share, $60 would be a fair entry price. The only way INTC will be worth $150 is if they force AMD out of business once and for all. They could do this very easily by simply cutting prices and giving up their profits for a year or two.

Pentium III is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over priced. Intel has to wake up and face the fact that they now have real competition.
"Intel Inside" won't cut it anymore.

Future Intel investor when the price is right,
Jim

I think you should consider the possibility that it will trade under fair value when the whole sector gets trashed ... seriously ...

Michael, Re: "(my long puts were nice today"

Good deal for you (your puts) and good deal for us longs (able to buy more.) I picked up some leaps when INTC was around $119 1/2.

Re: "This is a stock that sold for less than $80 a few short months ago."

When Intel moves, it moves. Then seems to sit for a spell. Then moves quick

Re: " I'd be happy to argue the point, but have received precious few replies from the local bulls to my #reply-7819204." mb

Point about what: short-term or long-term?
