Bill, does that mean I can't say rtfm any more <g>? Com'on, newbies need to go through a little bit of initiation, or they won't appreciate full membership (which takes about 3 days).

Seriously, the best part about this thread (other than learning new ways to make more money) is the comraderie that has developed. It makes wading through today's 40 posts an absolute delight.

Let me raise an interesting issue. As I told you earlier, I sold covered calls on my dell and csco positions on Monday and raised a tidy bunch of cash. The premium I received for these near in the money march calls was just under 6%. What is the downside to doing this every month and adding 72% to my portfolio annually?
