Great post djane! Thanks!

This answers a lot.

"VOD estimates 7-10% of total customer base will be interested"

That makes sense to me (see my earlier post). Question is how many minutes will they use and most importantly how of those will be G* minutes?!!

"France Telecom. More fixed phones demand so different deployment."

This also makes sense to me given the current GSM coverage in Europe (or NZ for that matter).

"G* will have 3M users in 2002.
G* has the local provider distribution mechanisms and sales organizations to reach projected customers in each country/territory
China 225,000 in 20002
Brazil 200,000
US 110,000
India 80,000 [cool]"

Sorry but I haven't seen these numbers as often as some of you. Are all numbers by 2002?? That doesn't add up to 3M unless there are significant others? So by when are they? The split between US and the rest seems roughly appropriate, which is a huge relief to me (see my earlier posts), it just makes me wonder why "developing countries are G*s 3rd priority".

Thanks again

Seems BS is under few illusions about the expansion of existing cellular coverage being an "enourmous market" (except maybe the US where we would need more details about G*/Terr minutes split to judge properly).

Anyone comments welcomed: "$600M financing need. Will go to market in Spring/Summer."

Djane, any mention or comments on how many shares additionally to be issued....and at what price? ....if I read this right...going to market (for additional capital)..

Just wondering...if the stock is offered at 20, 25, or 30 a share, wouldn't GSTRF current price rise to the offering price by the offering date?

Thanks for transcribing the call!
