Well I it's my money so I try to be educated. I was in at 27 and if the stock fell 20 I would have made money. See people need to realize like I finally did. The internet is the future of everything. You and I can buy products at auctions for right now. In 5 years all products, clothes, vcr, tv, consumer goods, beds, food, calculators, books, anything that can be sold in a store will be sold online. This is when the ecommerce will really start to kick in. All business/banking/buying and selling or at least 75% of it will become the norm. My wife hates buying things on the net. She went lookig at like 3 different video stores and she still couldn't find the video she wanted, she looked for 3 months. Then she was getting mad. So I looked it upon Amazon.com and it arrived in 3 days or so. You see why run around when it can come to you. Just wait video is going to be the next big thing in about 5 more years. We need a cable/ highspeed deal first then it opens up everthing. I see a 2-1 split again this year and then two more splits in the year 2000 and then one every year for 5 years straight.

You are right about new shareholders wanting assurance. As I mentioned yesterday, I am a new shareholder. I purchased a decent amount given the size of my portfolio. I have been around AOL for a while, and use their services. I am nervous as heck purchasing these shares. I was more nervous purchasing these shares than when I bought a bunch of a penny stock. I don't know why, and I know it is not rational. There is just a certain amount of anxiety attached with buying Internet stocks. I guess that is why not everyone in the world owns an INternet stock. I would love this thing to jump up a bit just to get a cushion from the price I bought at. It would make me feel a whole lot better about my purchase, as I am sure it would make everyone feel better.
