"For example on a daily cycle we're oversold and due up, on a weekly we're mid cycle, on a monthly still in overbought range..."

That is a good point. I look at mesa cycles with ordinary TA. My neural nets mainly have sentiment data, currency data, interest data and exchange data.

My nets went short on Friday's close and are mixed for Monday's close. They can change from day to day so if it did go up then in could only be for 1 day in a down movement.

Best wishes,

Bob

I use a 5 day average on the predicted and use daily data in the analysis. Most of the inputs include averaging as well. My best model traded 12 times since Nov 20, 98; all 12 trades were profitable. Obviously when I start putting real money on it it will fall apart <g>
