Christine--Your comments re: the "technical press" couldn't be more true. Even if you discount and ignore the zd empire entirely, it is still difficult to find a good read on the y2k issue. Last fall when I was looking far and wide, I would come up with a good article now and then from what I thought at the time were obscure sources. (I read an article on hardware scheduling aka time machine availability in Europe that let me to believe there was no hope these guys would ever get any meaningful testing completed. I think I might have saved it to a text file...I'm still searching.) Have you found any journal or trade publications which are better than others? Or is this, as I believe, a real hit or miss affair?
