Richard Thanks for the quick response and correct too. I had the mouse and keyboard connections crossed.Restarted , ran scan disk,loaded w98,#2 and 3 monitors were initialized succesfully,desktop background showed on 1&2 monitors then blue screen on 1 w/ error msg: pci error,pci338-a3d error:0x1001 press any key to continue then the mouse pointer freeses on blk screen w/ hourglass on #1 monitor,green desktop background #2 and successful initialization msg on #3..I am feeling more confident with your help :))Please continue with your expert advice.thanks cliff
