Well I bought AOL at a split adjusted 27 or so a share. My wife and I didn't like that our entire portfolio was AOL so we bought some other stocks. We bought Gilette in dec/98 at 44 1/4 then bought some more recently at 56 and we think it will hit 70-75 by the end of the year. We also bought some MBNA Bank . anything in the 23-25 range is a good buy anf the stock will move to the 32-34 range by the end of the year. And then the last one we just bought is Walgreens. We bought it at 31 even and it is now at like 33 and we think it could hit 45-50 by the end of the year. We are looking into getting some Cisco and worldcom, maybe some walmart/bestbuy/mcd's/ 3com/ Charles Schwab/ or maybe some spyiders in a correction.

Just wondering if anyone had the same feelings about an AOL merger with AT&T or any other company. I think that we will get a bigger return on our investment if AOL remains an independent company. Of course I would love a merger, however, I wonder how an AT&T's stock price would act compared to the amazing appreciation of AOL. Just a thought.

OT:

Bretsky Lucent is another strong bull you should keep an eye on. They just announced a 2 for 1 split for shareholders on record as or March 5th. The split takes place on April 1st.
