I am reading Monday's IBD(3-1-99). Hmmmm!!!!!! Joseph Nacchio,CEO and president of Qwest Communications states,"when you look at what it takes to transmit images, you're looking at demand increasing 1,000-fold,not in single digits per year." On the New America page a story relates the upcoming merger between Canada's JDS Fital and Uniphase Corp of San Jose. "The bottom line is that they're creating a baby gorilla in a non-cyclical, high growth space." (Fiber-Optics) I nominate Uniphase(UNPH) as a candidate to study and include in "Gorilla and King Watch & Wait", portfolio. Fred
