Subj- Humor about the 'Intel Inside' Several years ago Cyrix used to have a coffin in their lobby labelled 'Intel Inside' ! Intel's Legal department protested that it was a violation of Intel's copyright and trademark, and threatened legal action. Cyrix removed the coffin and replaced it with with a tombstone marked 'Intel R.I.P' Cyrix scored its victories on the humor front, but not on the business front. It bled profusely for several years and had to be sold to National Semi. Cyrix is now on the verge of sinking National Semi also.
