Hi Keith, the answer I just posted disappeared. Sorry. Briefly, if you keep the same stock twice in the same account, you must differentiate the Symbol slightly. Like VLSI for your regular holding and VLSIA for your "Watch" list. Or you can install Newport to different sub directories. There shouldn't be any way there would be "cross talk" between different sub directories. If you use different sub directories then there should be no need to have different stock ticker symbols.
