So if I copy those folders to another drive, reinstall MetaStock on top of what I already have, I should be able to merge the two if it gets messed up? Or should I install MetaStock, then sort through all the files dragging over the ones that are missing or of a different size? This is kind of scary as I built "experts" custom tailored for each stock and index I track since I had a problem finding generic settings that fit all profiles. I would hate to have to start experimenting with all the setting to do it again from scratch. I will copy those folders to my D drive and then give it a whirl when I get up the nerve or on a night after too much wine. <g> Thanks again, Lee
