Thankyou. I am not set against gold at all. I was thinking the same thought about selling into this madness. So the next question is, do you think it has reached its top, or will it continue to gather steam until at least the eve of 2000?

You were talking about favorite form of silver. Long time back (best I can figure it a month or two before Buffet bought) I found a bunch of rather old 1960's I think) "silver trade units". When I bought them paid
no premium, rather coin shop was glad to get supply of cash. now the flow is the other way, & they asked to buy some of the eagles back (at a slight premium). anyway, have been told these "units" were used by governments. Any truth?
at any rate when I bought them for $4.60 ea thought I made a deal.
