According to Intel's press release it was .25u. intel.com If memory serves me, with Intel's previous "Technology Demonstrations" the next process generation achieves the speed of the demonstration, following by about a year. Both AMD and Intel have stated they will ship 1 Ghz processors sometime next year. Intel has demonstrated Silicon running above that speed. AMD has never shown anything publicly running at half that speed. Who do you believe? EP
