Duke of URL and all: 2/27 Bloomberg News: "Siemens to buy closely held Argon for $240 Mln." Argon is developing a so called gigabit switch router, which sends data traffic over phone networks faster than existing gear made by No 1 networking company CISCO Systems Inc. and others! As all of us know...3com and Siemens are in an alliance to supply voice, video, and data. This is very good news for 3com stockholders and it now appears that Siemens along with others intend to challenge Cisco! What say you...."Mr. Finder & Co."? No more "puppy chow" for 3com...."Science Diet"! Formal announcement about purchase of Argon should come in a couple of weeks! As I have been saying these past two months...accumulate....accumulate!
