Given the tremendous amount of effort, time, energy that I and others expended in bring the fraudulent practices engaged in by Ledford and cronies to the attention of various state and federal authorities and the media, it is gratifying to see that he will be pay some penalty. However, as I e-mailed Gary just now; I do not see why Ledford is not subject to CRIMINAL penalties given the blatant acts of pure deception that the committed that caused severe financial loss to eco2 shareholders. Others have gone to prison for far less serious actions. Too, his infamous behaviors, threaten the very BASIS of our economic system since investors assume that information released by company officials is true. Tons of credit must be given to Gary Green since, I understand that he has been indirect contact with the SEC regarding Ledford & eco2 for quite some time. Guess there is some trugh in the saying"the whells ofjustice turn slowly." At least it seems that there will be come closure and justice. Comments please. I will be re-contacting the reporter for the major business publication who was working on the story a while ago. Maybe the latest development will whet ther appetitite to pursue it.
