I can promise you that nothing bad or unusual is going to happen on Jan. 1 as a result of the so-called "millenium bug".

Then you truly are the omnipotent one, aren't you then?

You can personally promise that no one will have a problem or need to replace a system due to Y2K??

And are these big companies pretty stupid to be spending so much money on fixing those Y2K problems??

Look at the earnings for KEA, CHRZ, and the others. Where is all that money coming from? (ie: who is paying it to them?)

And I completely agree that much of the Y2K effect is incredibly overhyped. I actually have great faith in our ability to fix any problems or create work-arounds. However, I don't have that same faith in overseas economies.

But money still has to be spent, and money equates to earnings and future business opportunities.

Regards,

Ron

Bill,

>>I can promise you that nothing bad or unusual is going to happen on Jan. 1 as a result of the so-called "millenium bug". <<

Thank you Bill for clearing that up for us. What the heck do those senators leading that congressional study know anyway? I'll bet that they are all Christian to boot. Why would anyone listen to those morons, eh?

Cheers,
