No- I cannot relate as I am a good mother. I would never do such a shitty thing to any of my kids- I would say God would be one sucky father.

No. We have discussed ancient mythologies in the past here. Go away.

First, how can you prove this is true? I asked Bob here once, what was Jesus' real name, for starters? Jesus simply means "savior". So what can you tell me about whoever the young, charismatic rural rabbi was who came to be called Jesus much later?

Secondly, my understanding is that Mary was perhaps actually impregnated by a Roman soldier. What is immaculate about this conception? Are you aware that the virgin birth story runs through many ancient mythologies?

Third, on what basis do you assume that there is everlasting life? Are you aware that, statistically speaking, the poorer and less educated people are, the more likely they are to believe in life after death? Historically, this has been the way that oppressive leaders keep the poor quiet, hoping for something in the next life to ameliorate the pain and struggle of this one.
