There have been several publications/sources that have started to buy in to the notion that xylan will be taken out. Most analyst look 35 to 40 as the number. At 26 the stock still trades at a significant discount. If nothing else the stock is now at closer to fair value for the company as an ongoing entity. I see 30 in the short term.

Good idea Steve...I picked up some about 1 1/2 yrs ago when this exact same rumor happened - naming exact same co (Alcatel) & nothing happened. After reaching a peak of 30ish or so based on the rumor mongering (had picked up at 26 around the beginning of the rumor so was pos.) - it proceeded to tank all the way to 10 & is finally back to where I picked it up 1 1/2 yrs ago (or so)!
Could be just someone starting the whole rumor thing again so that they can dump w/o a loss.
