>>My view is this, MSFT has spent the last 2 years (or so) developing AD with Cisco. Makes you wonder if they did that just to keep Cisco from developing their own product or from jumping onto the NDS bandwagon too soon. It's amazing how just after Cisco bent to the pressure from it's clients to embrace NDS, MSFT found Banyan....

Does anyone else see Active Domains(directory) as a huge FUD mission? It sure had Cisco going the "wrong" way for some time. Any comments on that thought? >>

Peter:

These moves are PURE Gates.

They played the same game with IBM prior to Windows coming out.

Don't ever think you can guess Gate's next chess move.

He's a master of deceit.

Question is: will the world swallow another technology lie?

Gate's seem to have the same distain for technology developers as Clinton does for women.

They are all dispensible and can be threatened and destroyed.

Cisco is simply the next in a long line of victims. They really were duped. Again, classic Gates.

Suck, stab, step on, walk over.

I am curious to see Microsoft's "new internet" strategy.

Best.
